Artificial Intelligence in Radiology. Demystified.
What is Artificial Intelligence and why does it gain importance in medical imaging? Artificial Intelligence (AI) is just a concept. The Oxford Dictionary defines Artificial Intelligence as the theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks normally requiring human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, or translation between languages... To help to realize it, you need a (business) challenge and technology that provides the data from which an algorithm can learn and from which a computer later on can make predictions, for example, if a patient has a brain tumour or not or how curable it is.
