SyMRI IMAGE is designed to speed up the clinical workflow. The solution delivers up to 8 different contrast weighted images, including T1W, T2W and T2W FLAIR but also less common contrasts such as Double Inversion Recovery and Phase Sensitive Inversion Recovery. Which have shown great potential for lesion detection. This solution limits the number and duration of scans required.
The contrast weighted images are synthesized so any combination of TE, TR and TI can be viewed without rescanning the patient. The scanner settings can also be adjusted after the patient has left, which allows the clinician to fine-tune the images and find the optimal contrast weighting for that particular patient.
The solution output below shows the result of a conventional MR images at 1.5T, acquired in sequential order in a total scan time of 15 minutes (toprow), compared with SyMRI images, acquired in asingle scan of 6 minutes (bottom row).
